WOMEN PICKING UP THE SLACK

Us women are in charge now as our men are out and fighting a war. It is our time to pick up the slack and take charge!

In the years we have been at war, the percentage of women workers in the workforce has jumped 10% from 27% to 37%. A mere 6.5 million women entered the workforce, many of which for the first time ever. When the men get back, they will understand what we have done to make this country flourish in these hard times. 350,000 women have even joined the forces and have done their part in fighting the war. Women even took up baseball while the men were gone. You swing like a girl you say? Ha!

FUNDING THE WAR

More money has been spent on ww2 than any other war in history. Where is that money coming from? Taxes were raised to generate revenue and help with inflation. Some of us are even giving up 90% of what we earn! The American public is doing whatever it takes to win this war! Goods such as food, water, and even oil and gas were being rationed out so that the majority of it could go to the troops fighting for their lives. These are often referred to as victory gardens, each garden we plant for ourselves saves food for those over seas.
