Dr. Bak's Message
Happy Monday, Roadrunners! This week is Classified Employee Week so please join me in honoring and celebrating all of our amazing classified staff including our custodians, office staff, aides, and lunch helpers. They've worked so hard to support our community during distance learning! Thank you, classified staff!
FSD Family Challenge: ART!
This week’s #fsdfamilychallenge is all about art so I'll be sharing one of my favorite art pieces each day. This is a called, "The Starry Night" by Vincent Van Gogh. How are you expressing creativity or appreciation of the arts during distance learning? Submit a photo or video on the FSD Family Challenge Google Form.
Art Challenge Accepted!
Here is an inspiring project from our 3rd grader, Alisia, who created this beautiful chalk art. It looks like stained glass on her sidewalk! All you need is chalk and painter's tape to create this work of art. What a great way to express creativity, learn about geometric shapes, and spread positivity in the neighborhood! Great job, Alisia!
Reading Challenge Accepted!
Check out these awesome roadrunners who accepted the reading challenge last week! Great job to our avid readers: Chloe, Celeste, and Dalia!
Field Day Challenge!
Your PE teachers have planned an exciting week of PE lessons! You will compete in field day challenges and submit your scores on M/W/F to compete against other students and earn recognition. T/Th events are just for fun. Here is the TK-2 challenge and 3-6 challenge. For more information, watch the video below and read this Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)!
