What we are learning this week:
I can ask and respond to questions about text.
I can id the topic of informational text.
I can id the topic and details in expository text.
I can write sentences to tell a story and put the sentences in chronological order.
I can recognize that new words are created when letters are changed, added, or deleted.
I can blend spoken phonemes to form one-syllable words
Math - I can model the action of joining for addition.
I can model the action of separate for subtraction.
I can solve word problems using objects and drawings to find sums up to 10.
I can solve problems using objects to find differences within 10.
I can explain the strategies used to solve problems.
Social Studies-I can explain the difference between wants and needs.
I can explain human needs.
I can explain self producing, purchasing and trading.
Science -I can tell the difference between living and non-living things by learning about their needs and whether the produce offspring.
