What is it?

Parkinson's disease is a chronic disease that affects the brain's production of dopamine and it also worsens over time.


It is the death of many nerve cells witch causes the body to malfunction.


There is currently no cure for the disease.


Treatment

There is no standard treatment for parkinson's

Treatments include medicine and surgical procedures based on the symptoms.

Symptoms

Tremors of arms legs and face

Slowness of movement

Stiffness of limbs and body

Instability in posture and stance

STATISTICS

Its estimated that 1,000,00 people in The United States suffer from Parkinson's Disease.

5,000,000 people suffer worldwide .
