Money and Learning Coins was a big focus this week! The kids loved learning the different attributes of each coin and learned how to identify each of them. Thank you for sending in your collection bags!
We did a fun activity where we listened to clues about each coin and made a guess for which coin was hiding underneath. After we made our guesses, we did the "scratch off" where we revealed our answers!
Leveled Books Coming Home on Mondays- RETURN ON FRIDAYS!!
PLEASE PLEASE try and help your child remember to return their leveled bag of books to school every Friday. I try and get them all ready to send home on Monday and when I am missing a bunch it really slows down my system and makes things more complicated.
These books go home every Monday and should be returned every Friday. Please take and read them a few nights a week with your child. They love reading them with me in class and I know that they would love to show off their reading to you too!!

- Nut Free and NO Frosting! :)
Ideas: Fruit Snacks, Cheez Its, Cookies, Popcorn, Fun Size Candy etc.
Family Friday Lunch
Click the Link Below to sign up to join your child for Family Friday lunch on Fridays! This is when you get to eat with your child in the cafeteria during our regular lunchtime from 10:15-10:45 am. The office is asking that this year, you sign up by noon on Thursday before so the office is able to batch print. In the past, it has seemed to be a lengthy process and they are hoping this won't take as long to get parents in the building. PLEASE make sure you do the sign up if you plan on attending lunch with your child.
