Section 504 or IDEA?
The Office of Disability Services - ยง504 and Dyslexia is pleased to provide 8 modules as a resource for classroom teachers to support students with reading difficulties, such as dyslexia.
Each module has background information and research about implementing a specific reading instruction in the classroom and three video activities that target that specific reading instruction. Teachers will receive a Certificate of Completion for each module completed that may be used toward their Professional Development time.

What is Dyslexia?
Dyslexia is a specific learning disability that is neurobiological in origin. It is characterized by difficulties with accurate and/or fluent word recognition and by poor spelling and decoding abilities.
