New Admin Panel Just Added

We are thrilled to announce a new panel on Monday May 23rd!

Title: Bringing Tech To Scale: Technology and Leadership

Panelists: Julie Helber of Saline Area Schools, Mark Hess of Walled Lake Schools, and Mary Ann Wolf of NC State University

Integrating instructional technology effectively across a school or district takes vision, funds, planning, infrastructure, and professional development. What does this look like and how do educators overcome the barriers that might stand in their way? Hear from four state, district, and school leaders on the topic.

Earn No Cost SCECHs

That is correct, you can earn up to 19 SCECHs at no cost! As a give back to our hard working teaches, we want to pay for your continuing education credits. It's easy! Please learn more about how on our website.

How to participate in the 4T

Step 1: Make sure you have registered (no cost)

Step 2: Test the Blackboard Collaborate Practice room (make sure it works on your computer---note it will not work on Chromebooks)

Step 3: Friday May 20th, you will get an email with links to all the sessions for May 21st. Join whichever sessions you like (if applying for SCECHS, make sure you login with your full name in each session).

Step 4: Saturday May 21st, you will get an email with links to all sessions for Sunday May 22nd. Join whichever sessions you like (if applying for SCECHS, make sure you login with your full name in each session).

Step 5: Sunday May 22nd, you will get an email with links to all sessions for Monday May 23rd. Join whichever sessions you like (if applying for SCECHS, make sure you login with your full name in each session).

Step 6: If applying for SCECHS, complete the form on this page by May 27th!

Step 7: ENJOY!!!

Important Service Note about Chromebooks and Blackboard Collaborate

We want to inform our participants that the tool we use for our live sessions, Blackboard Collaborate, will NOT work on Chromebooks. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Blackboard does work with Google Chrome on traditional laptops and desktops, as well as on iPads and other mobile devices (download the free app here). It also works with all other Internet browsers.

Test out our virtual room!

In order to be ready to participate on May 21st, we highly recommend that you try downloading and opening up Blackboard Collaborate BEFORE May 2st. Madonna University College of Education Masters Programs

The College of Education offers undergraduate and graduate programs that develop professional, highly effective teachers who are passionate about their students, schools and teaching. Our teacher candidates gain pedagogical skills and specific content-area knowledge through challenging academic course work and extensive hands-on field experience.

Central Michigan University D.E.T. in Education Technology

The D.E.T. degree is designed for those interested in professional research and a rigorous evaluation of educational technology or technology-based training. The 54 credit hour program consists of 12 online courses followed by a dissertation designed with a sense of practicality in mind. The dissertation will consist of several shorter independent, publishable sections that together create an in-depth study of the dissertation proposal from different perspectives. The D.E.T. will prepare graduates for a wide array of leadership positions in K-12 schools, virtual schools, community colleges, 4-year colleges, and universities as well as corporate, industrial, and military settings:
