Central Michigan University D.E.T. in Education Technology
The D.E.T. degree is designed for those interested in professional research and a rigorous evaluation of educational technology or technology-based training. The 54 credit hour program consists of 12 online courses followed by a dissertation designed with a sense of practicality in mind. The dissertation will consist of several shorter independent, publishable sections that together create an in-depth study of the dissertation proposal from different perspectives. The D.E.T. will prepare graduates for a wide array of leadership positions in K-12 schools, virtual schools, community colleges, 4-year colleges, and universities as well as corporate, industrial, and military settings:
