Beta Club

If your child is interested in joining the Beta Club and has a 3.5 GPA or higher from last year, please see Mrs. McCaslin, Mrs. McKamy, or Ms. Jordan by Oct 17th.

Interact Club

Are you interested in making a difference in the world? If so, join the Interact club! The first meeting is October 26,2017 in class C038 at 4pm. For more information contact Mrs. Griffith, or the Interact Club President, Zakiya Brown!

Help NHS and Support the Greenville Humane Society

National Honor Society is sponsoring a donation drive to support Greenville Humane Society. The 4th period class that donates the most items will win an ice cream social! Items to be donated include paper towels, hand soap, dog/cat food and treats, new or gently used towels and blankets, hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol, and more!

Art News

The Next Art Honor Society meeting will be Wed. Oct 25, at 4:00 in Room FA 108.

If you haven’t signed up for the alert, please go to google classroom for the code.

If you would like to submit a design for the Roper mountain Winter celebration display, please see Ms. Kronyak in room fa 108. Designs are due by Wednesday, oct 18th.

If you simply love Yankee Candles, Get an order form from Ms. Kronyak in room FA108 or ask any Art Honor Society Member. They will be on sale until Monday, Oct. 30.

PTSA Reflections Contest

The PTSA Reflections Contest is back. The Theme this year is “Within Reach”.

The catagories available to submit entries into are:

1. Film Production

2. Literature

3. Photography

4. Visual Arts

COLLEGE AND FINANCIAL AID HELP

Upcoming College Access Events -Greenville County Schools Annual College Application Days will be offered at all high schools in October. This provides students the opportunity to complete college applications with the help of school counselors and college admissions representatives. Over twenty schools will offer fee waivers during this event.


Family Financial Aid Workshops will be offered at four high schools on Tuesday evenings (6:00-7:30) in October.See attached schedule. School counselors and college financial aid officers will be presenting updated information on the financial aid process, deadlines and tips for students and parents. The public is invited and handouts will be provided to all attendees.


College Goal Greenville will be offered on 10/16, 10/23 and 11/6. Families may bring their tax information and work confidentially with a financial aid officer or volunteer anytime from 4:00-6:30, to complete and submit theirFAFSA. Free event. See attached schedule.
