Biomedical Program
PLTW Biomedical Science students are taking on real-world challenges before they even graduate from high school. Working with the same tools used by professionals in hospitals and labs, students engage in compelling, hands-on activities and work together to find solutions to problems. Students take from the courses in-demand knowledge and skills they will use in high school and for the rest of their lives, on any career path they take.
Benefits
All classes meet the University of California A-G requirements for Science.
Students demonstrate their knowledge throughout the course by completing activities, projects, and problems.
AP/PLTW Recognition/Participation.
Students are exposed to all career opportunities within the medical field. The program is not limited to physicians and nurses.

- Interdisciplinary activities like working with a client to design a home.
- Programming electronic devices or robotic arms.
- Empower students to develop essential engineering skills such as problem solving, critical and creative thinking, communication, collaboration, and perseverance.

Agriculture Program
Benefits
- All of the courses meet at least one the University of California A-G requirements in Science, Art or Elective. Some courses have articulation agreements with MSJC.
- The Career and Technical Student Organization (FFA) travels and competes at fairs and conferences throughout the state as well as participates in many community service activities.
- There are many different pathways within this category. Students can easily move from one area to another.

Law Enforcement Program
Benefits
- Joint partnership with MSJC. Students can earn college credits upon completion of certain courses. (Articulation)
- All of the courses meet at least one the University of California A-G requirements in Electives.
- Instructor has a minimum of 5 years experience in a law enforcement career and can teach specific to the expectations of this career.
- Potential opportunities for participation in local Explorer Programs and industry field trips.

- Students can plan and execute the HHS Patriot Press News Channel and Broadcasts. Link to a Patriot Press News Video
- All of the courses meet at least one the University of California A-G requirements in Art.
- Instructor has a minimum of 5 years experience in a law enforcement career and can teach specific to the expectations of this career.
- Students have access to current and updated photography and video equipment as well as editing programs.
- Industry field trips and conferences.
