How Do Natural Forces Affect Humans
Josh Garza
Natural Forces
Natural forces can be many things, such as hurricanes, tsunamis, and tornadoes. There are many more but if I listed them all it would take a very long time. The three that I will be going over and how they help humanity are tornadoes, floods, and earthquakes.
Tornadoes
Tornadoes are a very serious natural disaster, which can happen almost anywhere at anytime. They can take lives and homes away from us. The opposing view on a tornado may help people realize tornadoes can actually help. Tornadoes can help knock down natural barriers that we may need cleared or carry pollen miles away from the tornado. Tornadoes can be helpful, it just depends on how you look at them.
Earthquakes
Many of the earthquakes in the United States occur where tectonic plates meet or where the fault line is. When the two plates meets they can rub together and cause an earthquake. The thing that is positive about an earthquake is that it pushes metals and other minerals closer to the top of the surface. Earthquakes also help scientists to know what is happening under the Earth's surface.
Floods
Floods can happen at almost anytime like many other natural disasters, but floods do a little more helping than you would think. Floods can destroy crops and wash away years of hard work too, but what can they do to help. Floods usually have fish to bring onto the land which can decompose to give the soil nutrients. Also bringing fish onto the land can give the people of that city/town food for some time. Floods aren't all that bad, neither are any of the other natural disasters. Next time one appears, take a look at the positives and not the negatives.
