April 22nd is Earth Day!
Earth Day is an annual event held in 192 countries worldwide to celebrate our planet and to promote awareness of environmental issues and efforts. Join us in celebrating Earth Day by participating in the activities listed below throughout the week!
Earth Week Activities
Monday: Clean up! Pick up litter near your home and around the school campus.
Tuesday: Litterless Lunch. Let's see which group (K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12) can produce the
least lunch time litter.
Wednesday: Wear green & bring your own water bottle to school.
Thursday: Lights off! Use natural light and turn off overhead lights when possible.
Friday: Walk 'n Roll to school. Walk, bike, carpool, or take the bus to school.
