Dior Smith, Kindergarten

Dior Smith is very helpful in the classroom with his classmates He is always helping to keep our classroom clean. He is always focused and ready to learn. He is always ensuring that his classmates are doing the right thing. If you ever need a friend you can count on Dior!

Jamyah Stuckey, 1st Grade

She is very focused and determined. She follows all the routines and rules of the classroom and school. She is responsible and takes care of herself and her classmates and is always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Sukey Pierson is a model student at all times. She loves learning and always raises her hand. She is kind and helpful to everyone. She meets all classroom and school expectations daily!

Zariah comes to class always ready to learn. She is quiet when needing to be at learning time. Zariah is always willing to participate. Zariah exhibits kindness and respectfulness to students and staff members at all parts of the day.

Charlotte Houston, 4th Grade

Charlotte is a courteous and conscientious student with a great attitude. She always has something interesting to share during class discussions. Charlotte follows classroom as well as school expectations. Also, she is kind and respectful to her peers and teachers. Charlotte is a really good artist and draws great pictures! Whenever she has a free minute, you will usually find her reading a good book. Charlotte deserves to be Scholar of the Month because she is a great representative of Susie King Taylor Community School!

Journee Lang, 6th Grade

Journee is a fantastic scholar who always tries her best! She has been "caught in the act" helping her peers and educators multiple times over the past few weeks. Journee is always smiling, asking questions, participating in class, and doing her best work! She is a true joy to work with, and I am honored to be able to nominate her for the August Student of the Month!

  • Students will not be permitted to enter school without a doctor's note after 8:30 a.m. during the 23 - 24 school year.
  • In an effort to prepare for dismissal, students will not be dismissed after 2:30 p.m.


Please make sure your student is arriving to school on time and staying all day.
