Myofascial Release
Treating Pain at Home with Myofascial Release
Myofascial release (MFR) is the hands-on treatment of the body’s fascia. What is “fascia?” Fascia is the ultimate connective tissue structure of the body. It provides structure, support, and protection for the entire human body from top-to bottom and from the insideout. This class teaches basic principles of MFR and how to apply those principles through hands-on treatment to successfully release the fascia and to decrease pain.
Techniques will focus on calming headaches, how to treat pain in the various tissues of the body, and will also include areas of injury or pain brought to the class by attendees. Participants will receive hands-on experience and informational handouts that can be applied immediately at home to family and friends.
