PDPs and Learning Styles
How knowing your learning styles helps personal development
Visual 68%
Visual learners learn through observing someone or something in action, they prefer to see information presented graphically such as in graphs. They can also learn using flash cards, drawings or anything else that can give a visual memory. An advantage of this learning style is that the internet has videos on most if not all topics which can teach people about them.
Auditory 30%
Auditory learners learn things by hearing someone explain how things work or how things are done. Auditory learners best learn from speeches, presentations or audio-books. An advantage of this learning style is that you only need to have another person with the knowledge you wish to obtain and no other resources, as you can simply hear an explanation of it and learn from that.
Kinaesthetic 8%
Kinaesthetic learners learn from physically doing things, these people best learn from demonstrations and practical lessons. An advantage of this learning style is that many will learn via trial and error and can become some of the best in their fields.
How knowing your learning style can aid Personal Development
Knowing the learning styles will aid your Personal Development because you will find out how you learn best and put it in practise when in lessons or at home studying for your given topic.
