Message from Mrs. Rodgers
Hello Krahn Families!
May is warming up to be a very fun-filled and busy month at Krahn! We look forward to celebrating a successful year in many ways this month and hope to see you at the various events! Thank you for always partnering with us and working together so our students get the absolute best!
During May we celebrate all of our staff during teacher appreciation week (May 8th-12th). We are truly blessed to have the best staff at Krahn that work tirelessly every day for our students. Our Krahn Leadership team and PTO have a few things planned to celebrate them. Library News
Thanks for a wonderful first year with your Krahn Cardinals! It has been wonderful getting to know the students and to tweak our book collection to meet their interests and needs. I look forward to another great year in the Fall.
Please note: ALL BOOKS MUST BE RETURNED BY FRIDAY, MAY 12th!
To make getting books returned a bit more fun, the students will be participating in a book returning contest. *The first teacher at each grade level to have ALL ITEMS returned or accounnted for wins!* The teacher will receive a special prize, and the students in the class we will get to choose a special themed library session from a menu of options.
If you know that your students has a damaged or lost book and need help replacing it, please contact me, Jennifer Bacall via email at jbacall1@kleinisd.net.
Letters with the details and information will be sent home.
Encourage your kids to keep reading over the summer! The public library offer lots of free, fun activities and many companies offer prizes for children logging their reading. Need books? Our Sora app is available to students on their dashboard with free ebooks and audiobooks.
Future Bear Cubs (Kleb Intermediate)
Kleb Physical Education
We would like to welcome all of our future Bear Cubs! The PE/Athletic Department at Kleb Intermediate would like to invite you to join a special and unique opportunity. Next year Kleb will be offering a pre-athletics class for our 6th graders. This opportunity will allow students to learn the skills and techniques required to play the sports offered during 7th and 8th grade. If you plan to play Football, Volleyball, Basketball, and/or Track in the 7th and 8th grade year then we would love to hear from you. Please take a moment to scan the QR code below and complete the short survey by May 5th.
