Academy District 20 Is Partnering with Schoology
The Learning Services and Digital Integration Services teams are excited that Academy District 20 has selected Schoology as its official Learning Management System (LMS) beginning in the Fall of 2018.
Any staff member in Academy District 20 can join the supported Pilot of Schoology this Fall. This may take the form of diving in with students immediately or spending the fall creating and curating content for a January launch. As with all new software implementations, there can be minor challenges. We are looking forward to partnering with and supporting staff members who embrace the challenge and are resilient.
As we move forward in this process, we look forward to providing you with updates, important information, best practices, tips, and FAQs through this newsletter, our professional learning course, face-to-face time, and optional drop-in workshops.
Welcome to our new LMS!
Where are we in the implementation process?
We’ve received a lot of feedback that people are excited and ready to dive into Schoology. To meet this demand, we’ve accelerated our implementation timeline. Please keep in mind that it is a timeline and there are steps that need to happen before the pool is completely open.
People may have noticed that they are unable to create a free account using their district email address. That’s because we’ve claimed that domain in order to prepare for our system integrations and have begun testing some of those integrations on our test environment.
Things are moving forward! You’ll be diving in before you know it!
