News from this week
Dear Parents,
Thank you to everyone who was able to attend our end of the year party and awards celebration! The kids had a great time eating ice cream sundaes and playing games. Students were all recognized for their accomplishments this year. These included academic awards, classroom awards, and recognition for all other clubs/activities that they participated in this school year. A special thank you to Jenni Mallory, our room mom, for organizing the party and helping out this year. It is so helpful having a great room mom! I also want to thank all other parents who were able to help out/support our class this year. It certainly takes a village...
Club forms for 5th grade are due on Monday. These include Broadcast Club and Cover to Cover Book Club.
The class visited the book mobile to choose a free book to start off the summer! Make sure your child reads over the summer!
Six Flags Tickets for those who completed the Winter Reading Log are in your child's Friday Folder. Some names be misspelled, but don't worry about it. Six Flags will still accept it. You do not need to return Friday Folders next week.
Next week is the last week of school, with Wednesday being the last day for students. We will work on a small memory book. Students are welcome to bring in yearbooks and small games (must fit in backpack) on Monday and Tuesday. Please do NOT send in any electronics on Wednesday...including cell phones. Students will be cleaning out their desks Monday and Tuesday and report cards will come home Wednesday. Because of various parties and schedule changes, there will be no lunch visitation for those last 3 days.
I hope everyone has a great weekend!
Mrs. Stoffle
