Message from Principal Haugens

We experienced some colder temperatures this week, but the wind chill did not drop below 10 degrees, which means we lined up outside for morning arrival and went outside for recess. Please have students dress for the weather. Looks like warmer weather is in the forecast for next week.

As a reminder, students should be dropped off at DuJardin between 8:25 am - 8:40 am. DuJardin supervises students outside from 8:25 am - 8:30 am. Students begin entering the building at 8:30 am. There is no adult supervision at DuJardin before 8:25 am.

We have noticed a handful of cars turning left out of the parking lot during arrival and dismissal. We ask that all parents turn right when exiting the parking lot during arrival and dismissal time. This procedure is in place to help with the flow of traffic.

Students will begin their winter vacation Monday, December 20th through Friday, December 31st . School will resume on Monday, January 3rd . Please remind your son/daughter to bring home clothing items, needed class materials, and their winter gear. Please remind your child not to leave any food items in school and to clean out their locker/desk.

Students will come home with 1st Trimester Report Cards on Friday. Please take some time to review the report card with your child(ren). We will also email report cards to parents. Please look for an email from DuJardin around 4:15 pm. If you do not get an email or if you receive incorrect information, please contact the DuJardin office. If you have any questions about the report card, please reach out to the classroom teacher.
