He publshed his first book when he was 18, the book was called "Tamerlane." It was part of a collection called" Tamerlane and Other Poems". The book was very famus and made alot of money.

Alot of horrible things in hs life are evidant in the work. All the anger and fear throughout his life. Like being adopted, and watching your parents die, your fiancee cheating on you, wathing your wife die. Thats enough to emotionally scar a man for life.

His death was such a mysery because knowone knew how he died. He was missig for a week, when they found Poe he was drunk at a bar. Then he died days later.
