Where the Wild Things Aren't!

What is Animal Entertainment?
The animals that are found in circuses and zoos, are used for the entertainment/amusement of the public. These animals are most likely under the harsh and painful abuse of their trainers and owners. Their abuse can range from beatings, to electrocuting, to food and water deprivation.
Lions and Tigers
These animals are under constant watch, by being locked up in small cages and lack of food.
Giraffes
These giraffes are forced into compressed areas that they can't be free in.
Elephants
This elephant was tied up and heated with a hook, because he wasn't doing his "proper" training.
How can you Help?
Take a Stand
There isn't much we can actually do to get these helpless animals out of danger, but you can avoid giving circuses and zoos your attention. By doing this, you're already saving one animals life. Writing or petitioning your opinions on this topic, can reach out to others and have them participate in the fight for their rights.
Many helpless animals like the one above, often face depression from the abuse they get. Their symptoms include swaying, circling, head-bobbing, self-harming, and the biting of bars or fences.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA)
The PETA is the largest animals rights organization in the world, with over 3 million volunteers and participants. PETA focuses its attention on the four areas: animals on factory farms, in the clothing trade, in laboratories, and in the entertainment industry. Visit their website with this QR code.
