Wrapping up the 2016-17 school year

It's hard to believe that we are in the final month of school. I've had multiple conversations with Central Noble employees, parents, and community members about our final student day being on May 22. Everyone that I've spoken to can't remember a year that summer break started this early at Central Noble. An early summer break is without a doubt popular with our students. They are ready to experience the freedom and flexibility that come along with summer break. Our school staff members are also happy with such an early summer vacation, but we are all experiencing a shift in our planning. The end of the school year has arrived weeks earlier than we are used to! With summer break's early arrival we will be very busy at Albion Elementary making sure that we properly wrap up the 2016-17 school year. Have a great summer break everyone!

Track and Field Days

We are joining forces with Wolf Lake students and teachers to create a new, exciting day for our Central Noble Elementary students. Each student will enjoy twelve activities with their class and a picnic lunch at the Central Noble Jr/Sr High track. Please be sure to dress your child appropriately for the weather as we will all be outside from 10:00 to 2:00. Some activities include water so students will be getting wet. Shoes and socks will be needed as students will be using the track for running events. Feel free to send in sunblock in a sealed bag with your student too. Here are the dates:

  • May 12 Grades K-2 (rain date is May 16)
  • May 17 Grades 3-5 (rain date is May 19)

PTO Donation

Our PTO recently donated a lot of playground toys to enjoy for the end of the year and beginning of next year. Many of the toys are being celebrated by the Albion Elementary Students in the picture above.

Summer registration

Online school registration will take place during the summer months. You will find registration information in your child's final report card. We will have open computer lab times for any parent without internet or computer access as well. Details will be included in each student's final report card.
