Specials Schedule
Veterans Day
We would love for our Blue Ash Elementary students' relatives who are active military members or veterans to join us for a Veterans Day Assembly on Friday, November 11th, 2022 from 2:05-3:15.
If you, or a relative are a veteran, or are currently in the service, and would like to attend our assembly, please use the link below to complete the RSVP form.
*Parents, because this assembly is at the end of the day, we realize that some parents may choose to have their child to go home with their special guest. If you would like for your child to be picked up by someone other than you, you must send in a note, signed by you, specifying who has permission to pick up your child that day. Please let your child's teach know if you would like any parent communication forms sent home with your child.
BAE Halloween Parade!!
In the meantime, here are some things to keep in mind as you prepare...
Students and staff will be coming to school on Monday, October 31 in a fun or silly costume. We will schedule a time where students and staff will parade around the perimeter of the school so parents can come and enjoy the event.(More details coming very soon)
We encourage families to be creative with costumes, but please nothing scary or messy.
Participants should still follow dress code expectations:
No scary costumes
No scary or extensive makeup
No weapons
Please wear school appropriate shoes...we will be walking.
*Please do not drop off costumes/items to school. Your child should be able to wear their costume to school without support. We will not be interrupting class for students to pick up items.
First graders use descriptive adjectives to introduce their pumpkins!
Third graders celebrate how we are all unique. We make our school beautiful!
Look how much our writing has grown in Fourth Grade! Amazing!

PTO INFORMATION
Night Owls
Active Aves
Active Aves (a PTO sponsored program) is Back!
Active Aves is a recess running program that allows kids to set and meet goals while having fun and being active outside with their friends. Kids run (or walk) laps around the playground, each of which is marked on a card. When kids complete a card (each card equals about 2 miles walked or run) they earn a token to mark their accomplishment. Kids who complete six or more cards will be entered in a drawing for a prize at the end of the year. You can help by volunteering to punch cards and cheer the kids on. Indoor recess cancels.

DISTRICT INFORMATION
National School Lunch Week
The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) serves nearly 30 million children every school day. President John F. Kennedy created National School Lunch Week (NSLW) in 1962 to promote the importance of a healthy school lunch in a child’s life and the impact it has inside and outside of the classroom. #NSLW22 will be celebrated October 10-14, 2022.
The theme this year is Peace, Love and School Lunch! We will be celebrating in our cafeterias starting on Monday, October 10th. Keep an eye out for a few fun things going on this week!
Monday - Come through our lunch lines to see our “Celebrity Chefs”. We will have fun prizes, costumes, decorations and music throughout the week.
