(New) Next Student Support & Intervention Wednesday - November 11
The next Student Support Wednesday is November 11th.
Our teachers and staff are available on Wednesdays to help students with their learning. Eastview offers additional student support and intervention that is available and accessible to all students. The goal is to dedicate time to increase our student achievement and success. We will use this time to supplement the interventions already happening every day for our students through individual or small group time (Zoom or in-person) to meet the learning needs of our students. Click the link below for more information.

Request transportation for Student Support on Wednesday, November 11 by 3pm on Monday, November 9.
(New) High School Distance Learning Meal Kit Pickup - Starting Nov. 9th
Beginning Nov. 9, all students are eligible for free seven-day meal kits to support their distance learning. To best meet the needs of our families, meal kits will be available for pick up near the middle or high schools’ entrance doors at these times:
· Monday 4:00pm- 5:30pm
· Tuesday 7:30am- 9:00am
· Wednesday 10:00am- 11:00am (Digital Academy Meals will continue)
· Thursday 7:30am- 9:00am
· Friday 7:30am- 9:00am
Look for the banner and sign for the distribution location. Families with children in multiple schools are encouraged to pick-up all seven-day meal kits at one school.
Initially, families will be asked to complete this Seven-Day Meal Kit Interest Survey. This will allow the Food and Nutrition Services department to prepare the number of meal kits needed. The survey only needs to be completed once.
The U.S. Dept. of Agriculture has authorized funding for schools to provide meals at no charge to children, 18 and younger, for the entire school year. All secondary families are encouraged to participate in this opportunity. Any child 18 and younger, or parent/guardian of a child is able pick up these seven-day meal kits. For contactless distribution, the seven-day meal kit boxes will be placed on a 6-foot table with a bag of milk on the side. Families will be able to take as many boxes as needed for their children. Food and Nutrition Staff will monitor and replenish the table as needed.

Contact your AP teacher if you need a JOIN CODE to register in AP Classroom. The final deadline to complete these 2 tasks is this Thursday, November 12th. There is a $40 late fee imposed by the College Board after Nov. 13th.

Last Year Locker Pickup
Did you get all your locker belongings at the end of the school year last year? For students that have not received their items from their locker, see Mr. Habeck in Student Services. We have your belongings available for pick up.
Your child may be eligible for free or reduced-price school meals, services, etc.
District 196 provides healthy meals each day for all students. And your family may qualify for free or reduced-priced school meals. If you participated in this program last school year and wish to participate again this year, you must submit a new application each year. In addition to school meals, if you qualify, you may be eligible for benefits through other school district programs, such as vison/hearing services, scholarships, transportation, community education, field trips, band instruments, extra or non-curricular activities and other fee-based programs.
Federal funds and school-related fees are determined with this information. The failure to complete the application could result in the loss of millions of dollars to our school system, which would negatively affect teaching and learning in a significant way.
All students in our district are currently eligible to receive free breakfast and lunch through the extension of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s free meals program through the end of the school year, however, to be eligible for other benefits, it is important families who qualify for free or reduced-price meals still apply this year.
To apply, click here, or visit https://paypams.com/Applynowisd196 or call 651-683-6958 if you need assistance filling out the application.

Student and Parent/Guardian Fall Sports Surveys
Thanks to all of our students and families who participated in Fall Athletic programs at EVHS this year. It was most certainly an “unknown” if we would have or season or get through a full season, but thankful for our students to have the opportunity. For those who have concluded their seasons already or will be in the next couple of weeks with their culminating Section Tournaments we ask that you take a few minutes to fill out our STUDENT and PARENT/GUARDIAN Surveys.

Mother has a meatloaf in the oven and is well on her way to having the perfect dinner party, but one thing stands in her way—the end of the world as we know it! Is that going to stop her perfect party from happening? Not at all! Like moths to a flame, the house lights are attracting all types of unexpected guests. Join her in The Perfect Ending as she juggles a grease monkey, looting neighbors, an insurance salesman, her son's juvenile delinquent girlfriend and many other zany characters in an attempt to maintain a perfect house and to be the absolute perfect hostess, right up until the very last moment. Will the world come to an end, or will Mother get to have her perfect dinner party?
This production will be available to stream online on November 13, 14, and 15 at 7PM on the EVHS Performing Arts website.
