Chipmunk Chatter
For The Week of March 29th through April 2nd
Administrators' Message
Dear Sandymount Families~
We Have Spirit, Yes We Do! It was so much fun to see our students and staff participate in Super Hero Day. Even wearing a facemask while walking into the school building, it was easy to notice the smiling faces of students. This year more than ever, we know that our families, students and staff are Super Heroes each day! Join us for the next PBIS spirit wear day on Friday, April 9th. Wear your favorite jersey or Orioles' gear to celebrate school spirit at SES!
The Carroll County Public School System is seeking nominations for the Rita Board Dowd Award for Outstanding Carroll County School Administrators. The award is given annually to two school administrators – one principal and one assistant principal (K-12), awarded independently. The goal of the award is to recognize exceptional educational leadership in serving Carroll County Public Schools and its students. Any full-time elementary, middle, high school, career and technology, or alternative program principal or assistant principal in the Carroll County Public School System may be nominated. Any student, administrator, teacher, parent, faculty or staff member may nominate someone they feel deserves consideration for the award.
The nomination form is available on the Carroll County Public Schools website at www.carrollk12.org. Nominations must be received by Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at 4:00 p.m.
There will not be a Chipmunk Chatter next week so enjoy your SPRING BREAK!
Have a great weekend!

Along with your photo ID, we encourage you to bring your own pen when signing out a student.
