Assassination Classroom
Written and Illustrated by Yusei Matsui
The Main Characters
Nagisa Shiota is seen as one of the weakest students in the class due to his small stature and mid-level physical abilities, and is often compared to a girl.
However, he is acknowledged to be the most talented to become an assassin out of all of the students by his teachers, due to his ability of able to walk close to someone while hiding his bloodlust to make a surprise attack. His bloodlust is so strong that it is able to make a full grown soldier falter from his bloodlust alone.
Korosensei is the 'villain' who loves reading who doesn't act like one, but has deadly weapons in his arsenal. Translating the name into english means 'Unkillable Teacher.' The name proved itself right as Korosensei has several inhuman abilities to use, his special skill is the fact he could move at Mach 20. He has many weaknesses, and most of them are quite embarrassing, like having motion sickness and can't sleep unless if he has his own personal pillow.
THE PLOT
The Japanese government is going to give a reward of ten billion yen to whatever student manages to kill their teacher, who claims his name is Korosensei. Korosensei is a strange looking creature with a round yellow head and the body of an octopus. Depending on his mood, his skin color can change. For instance, if he turns black, he is so angry that nothing could stop him from doing as he please.
REVIEW
I wouldn't change anything. There is humor, action, adventure, rivalry against the other classes and even a little romance every once in a while.
The characters have totally different abilities, personality, and hobbies from each other and act like children, despite being trained to become assassins.
I would recommend this novel to those who like humor and action.
LANGUAGE
"Flump, flump, flump." pg. 1.
"Sensei's cells can be destroyed much like tofu." pg. 9.
If I were to use five adjectives to describe this novel, it would be entertaining, accelerating, addicting, exciting, and hilarious.
