Girls Basketball season

Attention all Girls Basketball players, parents and coaches,

The superintendents of the Arrowhead K-8 districts made a decision on October 6 about fall sports:

"It is the decision of the superintendents not to move forward with a Fall Girls Basketball Season at this time. The hope is that we can run a combined boys and girls season starting in January. The superintendents will continue to be in touch and communicate in December as we look at how the county and area are doing in reference to COVID concerns."

While this is both frustrating and disappointing, I hope you understand that it is a collective effort to keep all of our schools and students safe and focusing on academics. I suspect that the format and logistics of a combined boys and girls season will be vastly altered if we are able to have that in January. No one knows what that will look like at this time as the logistics to that will need significant consideration. In the meantime, please stay tuned for more information and possible opportunities whether here at Erin or in the community for co-curricular activities of all sorts.

Kind regards,

Andrew Andress

Erin Athletic Director

'20-'21 Calendar Updates

On September 28, 2020, the Erin School Board revised the school calendar which can be found on the Erin School web page. The following days were added as no school days for students: 1-4-2021, 4-6-2021, and 5-3-2021.

These days will be work days for staff.

Those were the only changes made.
