Dear Families, Students, Staff and Teachers,


Thank you very much for all the families who joined us on our first Tea with the Principal and participated in the ELAC/SSC elections this past Saturday! We are fortunate to have strong parent involvement. Please know that your participation, support and feedback are imperative to our school community. Muchas gracias a todas las familias que nos acompanaron a nuestro primer Te con la Directora y participaron en las elecciones de ELAC/SSC. Somos muy afortunados de tener una fuerte participacion de nuestras familias. Tenga en cuentra que su apoyo y comentarios son imprenscindibles para nuestra comunidad escolar.



This Friday is California Admissions Day and a School Holiday. Monday is Labor Day and also a School Holiday. Enjoy your 4-day weekend!

Important Announcements for Families and Students

  • Due to Admissions Day, Monday's bell schedule will be changed to a "B Day" Schedule, which is the same as a Wednesday/Friday schedule with periods 4 - 7. School will still start and end at the same time.
  • Our first school-wide aSTEMbly is Tuesday during Advisory! We will be honoring students of the month and playing fun games! Students - please go to Advisory first, then come down with your teacher to sit with your advisory class.
  • All students should have received their textbooks. Please see Ms. Jazmin in the STEM's main office if you have not.
  • Locker information will be shared in the Advisories when 100% of students in the advisory have turned in their enrollment or re-enrollment paperwork.
  • Students - keep your friends and our campus safe, See Something? Say Something! by talking to an adult right away or filling out this anonymous form on our website!
  • Families - want to leave us feedback? Have a non-urgent question? Use the Parent Feedback Form on our Website!
  • Everyone needs help some times; do you need help? Check out these community resources!

  • Parents and employees can choose to Opt back into receiving Outreach (general) messages by calling (855) 502-7867 from any phone number that was previously Opted-Out. You can also sign up for Parent Portal and get notifications on the Schoology App!

Announcements for Teachers and Staff

  • Teachers must sign in at the STEM office first thing in the morning and before 8:05 am to ensure compliance with the EWA.
  • Take accurate attendance in each class within the first 10 minutes. Indicate the time of arrival for those students who are tardy and have students sign in using this form.
  • Please enforce hall pass rules - One student per pass, sign-out for a pass, wear your lanyard & ID, and no hall passes in the first or last 10 minutes of class!
  • Don't forget to wear your lanyard and ID at all times when you are on campus, please also enforce this rule for all your students, especially when they ask to use the pass to exit your room for any reason.

  • We will have a Fire drill this Thursday, 8/31/23 at 11:00am.
  • Please update the Tutoring Schedule as soon as possible.
