Room 106 News
December 4, 2015
Welcome to December!
December is a wonderful winter month in Room 106. We love the winter-themed activities. The girls are even enjoying a baking class this month! And we are thankful for the beautiful weather that has allowed us to continue going outside most days.
It's been a couple weeks since I have sent a newsletter, so I had some catching up to do with all the photos in my iPad! I hope you enjoy!
Ben is an eager learner in Speech Group
Brian learns how to make calming choices in OT Group
Ja'min picks some of his favorite zone activities
Ja'min is such a wonderful new addition to our class!
I think Ja'min's favorite class is . . . Music Therapy!
Brian is ready to fill out his Zones Chart in OT.
Ms. Tara had a great edible "corn cob" craft!
. . .but there was no corn in it!
Some apple pie from Mrs. Mejac, just for Brian. . . We're jealous!
The girls will have a cooking class all this month.
We get messy, and it's great!
Making blueberry mini-pops
We Had a Great Time at the Farm Park Today!
First, we watched a sheep demonstration. I love the picture of Brian and the sheep staring each other down. :) And the sheep looks like he is smiling . . .
We petted a sheep a horse, saw a momma pig and her babies, and some of us even petted a chicken!
The horses were a favorite of everyone.
"A mamma pig and her babies!", Ben shouted. So happy!
I'm not sure I want to pet that chicken!
. . . then we went to Santa's Workshop to make a toy.
