Hacking for the Community

Are you looking for a way to get our Chicago-area youth excited about your organization? Do you have a problem you just haven’t had time to design a solution for? Consider being a featured organization with the Adler Planetarium’s 2nd Annual Random Hacks of Kindness Junior event!

During Random Hacks of Kindness Junior, middle school students (grades 6-8) from around Chicago come together to learn about different community organizations and design solutions that may help address a challenge you face. With guidance from computer science mentors, students will work on small teams to build their solutions as best they can in a fast-paced, 4-hour timeframe!
