Next Two Week Virtual Schedule Update

Good Afternoon,


The school board approved a full virtual schedule for the weeks of 11/23 and 11/30. This newsletter highlights the things you need to know regarding the schedule for the next two weeks. Below you will find a new template for student schedules with the virtual times as well as a calendar for the next two weeks. Please take note of the time changes as Block 1 begins at 8:30 starting Monday 11/23.


Having students in the building the last two weeks reminded us how much we miss having them on campus. From the bus stop to the grab and go lunch on the way out, their faces brought joy to the troubling times we are in. The teachers and staff have all commented countless times about the excitement of seeing students again.


From all of us here in the middle, we hope you have a safe, healthy, and restful Thanksgiving!

Schedule

We will continue to move through our current four-day rotation schedule indefinitely and regardless of whether we are in for a full day or a half-day. Please refer to the Calendar attached above for the times for the next two weeks of class.


Day 1 - A Day - Four Blocks for periods 2, 4, 6, 8

Day 2 - A Day - Four Blocks for periods 1, 3, 5, 7

Day 3 - B Day - Four Blocks for periods 2, 4, 6, 8

Day 4 - B Day - Four Blocks for periods 1, 3, 5, 7

Meal Distribution

As previously communicated, The Pennsylvania Department of Education has granted New Hope-Solebury School District approval to supply all children ages 0-18 in our community (enrolled students over the age of 18 with special needs are also eligible) free breakfast and lunch daily through the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year.


As we are moving to virtual learning beginning Monday, November 23rd through Friday, December 4th, we will be distributing meals at two locations as outlined below:


Lower Elementary School – (parent drop off area)

High School – (Theater Entrance)


Monday, November 23rd – 8 am to 11 am

Monday, November 30th – 8 am to 11 am

Wednesday, December 2nd – 8 am to 11 am


Students do NOT have to be present at the time of pick-up.
