A Message from Dr. Hicks
Cougar Nation,
It's hard to believe we are two weeks away from spring break. Let's hope Mother Nature cooperates, and we can start to see those beautiful Texas bluebonnets bloom.
Please join us in welcoming Rosena Malone as the interim Principal at Igo Elementary. Rosena has 39 years of experience in education. You can read more about her below. We're excited to have her on board while Principal Adrienne Rodriguez is out on maternity leave. She and her husband, John, will welcome their baby girl around March 15.
This Thursday, March 3, we are hosting a Jarrell ISD job fair in the cafeteria at Igo Elementary. As a rapid growth community, we are starting to recruit early for the best candidates to join our growing district. Please share the news about our job fair. Here's a link to our current positions.
Finally, it's Read Across America Week. This week is an excellent reminder of how essential reading is to learn, grow, and let your imagination run. So join us in celebrating reading by encouraging your children to curl up with a good book.
Your proud superintendent,
Toni Hicks, Ed.D
