CHE Update for 2/26

Coyote Staff Update

MAP Testing Complete

Mid-Year MAP testing is nearly done. We have a few more make-ups to give but nearly every child is done. I have created a data spreadsheet for everyone for each subject area. It is of utmost important that you immediately start holding data conferences with students and start updating goal sheets/data walls/etc. I am nearly done with a data conversation sheet that I will be using with 3rd-5th graders starting at the beginning of March. I will visit with every 3rd-5th grader.

I just want to thank you for all of your hard work. Many of the classes made TREMENDOUS growth! 24/38 data points reflected growth of 100% or more (class wide).

It is important that you talk as a grade level about findings, next steps, and what is working/not working. Without a doubt, the classes that are making the most growth are regularly holding high small group for instruction and intervention.

Staff Survey--Please Respond

If you haven't completed the staff survey:

Library Re-Design--Working Group

Wednesday, Feb. 28th, 3pm

4770 Canyon Hills Drive

Fairfield, CA

This is the first meeting regarding a potential re-design of our library. I know many of you probably won't be able to make it but I want to get the ball rolling. If you can't make it but are still interested, let me know and I will update you and invite you to additional meetings. This first meeting will be focused on conceptual ideas, creating a timeline, looking at a student and staff survey, etc.

Thanks much!
