A Message from the Principals
Greetings! As the nights seem longer, flowers begin to bloom, the grass is growing and the weather is starting to become warmer we are seeing so many happy students. We are in the third trimester already! WOW! Staff and students continue to dig in and produce high-achieving work. We extend our thanks for your continued support and teamwork to create lifelong learners and caring, helpful, respectful, and responsible citizens. Speaking of, we just celebrated our Cub of The Month last week and are on the lookout for our next one. We are discussing and learning about the core value responsible. We encourage you to have those discussions at home as well.
Many exciting things will be happening at Millbridge in the near future. Construction will be starting on a new addition on Monday, which will provide spaces for our two self-contained classrooms as well as two small group instruction rooms. As many of you know, our building is very crowded- a number of special area classes are held in the students' homeroom classrooms and several spaces are shared by multiple teachers. This addition will help improve your child's experience at Millbridge and we can't wait to open the new space at the start of 2023.
Educationally yours,
Mrs. Lowe and Mrs. Murphy

Construction Begins on March 28th
We are doing everything possible to ensure that the impact on our students is minimal during this time. The fenced-in playground on the side of the school will be in use exclusively by our preschool students during this time. During most of the day, other than at arrival, dismissal, and preschool outdoor times, construction crews and deliveries will occur on a makeshift road along the side of the school. All K-2 students will use the playground and fields behind the school.
Please be sure to read future Cub Corners and emails sent from the school during this time to stay informed about these exciting projects.

Become an Observer in Canvas
If you have not already done so, please be sure to become an observer for your child(ren) in Canvas. The information below is from the district's webpage and will help you become a co-observer. If you have multiple children, you will be able to see everything for them in one place. Teachers will be providing a weekly overview for parents and notes for the week in Canvas.
To enable co-enrollment (observer) in Canvas K-12 your student will need to generate a pairing code and you will need to link the account. A parent may pair (link) to multiple children in the same parent (observer) account.
You will need to set up the pairing through a web browser like Chrome. You cannot enable pairing or observing through the parent app.
Co-enrollment means you can view grades, upcoming assignments and due dates, missing work, and teacher communication.
Teachers can send individual, group, and course-wide messages to students and parents.
Once you're co-enrolled, you'll want to set-up your notification preferences. Click here for instructions on setting up your notification preferences.
