## How to solve the above.

A line is 180.

So 180-60= 120

120 = Y

## PROPERTIES OF PARALLELOGRAMS

- Opposite sides are congruent (AB = DC).
- Opposite angels are congruent (D = B).
- Consecutive angles are supplementary (A + D = 180°).
- If one angle is right, then all angles are right.
- The diagonals of a parallelogram bisect each other.
- Each diagonal of a parallelogram separates it into two congruent triangles.

## TRAPEZOID and ISOSCELES TRAPEZOID

Isos Trapezoid- The properties of trapezoid are: parallel bases.The legs are congruent. The lower base angles are congruent. The upper base angles are congruent. Any lower base angle is supplementary to any upper base angle. The diagonals are congruent.

## TRAPEZOID and ISOSCELES TRAPEZOID EXAMPLE

c + d is equal to 180 so 180-65 is 115

so D is 115, and because D and E are equal they are both 115

## KITE

1 is 90 because where its at it forms a right angle.

so 52 plus 90 is 142 and then thats how i got 38
