BENJAMIN S. UHRIG

SPORTS AND ATHLETIC COORDINATOR

Ben Uhrig grew up in Columbus, Ohio where he attended Dublin Scioto High School. In high school he played a variety of sports including; baseball, golf, football and wrestling. His main sport was wrestling where he received many honors. He was a two-time Conference Champion, Sectional Champion, District Champion, and a State Qualifier his senior year. He was also a two year Captain of the team and was awarded the Most Improved Wrestler as well as the Most Valuable Wrestler by his fellow teammates. In high school he was also a mentor to younger students in a program called Teen Institute, where he would answer questions about the transition to high school and often coordinate after school sporting activities. Ben was also chosen twice to be a camp counselor to 7-8th grade students in an annual middle school camping retreat.



Ben Uhrig was accepted to Ohio University where he studied Marketing and and was active in the Jewish scene. In addition, Ben helped organized many trips to The Nelsonville Home for Troubled Boys, where members organized and played different sports with the troubled teens. He also organized the many intramural sports teams for students and served as a mentor to students.


Ben moved to Los Angeles after graduating with a degree in Marketing in 2006, and aims to pursue a certification in Personal Training. Ben hopes to use the information he has learned about exercise and fitness to help young men and women become more active and to set them on a path to live healthy and productive lives.
