Stu Co will make daily announcements about fire prevention and safety. We will also make thank you cards for our local Willow Park Fire Dept.
Oct. 11 BACK THE BLUE DAY
Stu Co may bring BLUE TREATS by Oct. 10 and earn a point. We will divide the treats up into two baskets, one for our Aledo ISD Police and one for our Willow Park Police.
Blue treat ideas: blue sodas, blue candy, blue pens & pencils, anything fun that is in blue packaging. We will also wear BLUE on Oct. 11 to show our appreciation to our local first responders.
CARDBOARD ARCADE at Family Fun Night Oct. 24
All leaders are encouraged to make a cardboard arcade game! We will watch Caine's Arcade on YouTube at our meetings this month as this idea started with him. We fill the gym with our games for all to come play that night. Since there are over 100 leaders, I encourage you to partner with another leader or two if possible to make an arcade game out of cardboard. The more creative, the better! You will also need to bring bags of candy or small treats. Each leader who makes a game earns 2 pts for the game and 1 pt for the treats you bring to hand out at your game.
We need all leaders to sign up to work a 30 minute shift in the gym too!
**Due to lack of storage, bring your game to the gym AFTER SCHOOL on Oct. 24 between 3:00-4:30 and games will need to be picked up and taken home that night
RED RIBBON WEEK Oct. 23-27
Daily Dress Up themes to be determined. SOCTOBER will be part of this week as we join Kid President to collect new socks for the homeless.
OCT. 28 Aledo Players Haunter House
This is a fun haunted house put on by the High School Theater Dept. If you go, you can give yourself a point!
T-SHIRTS
Our new Student Council shirts are awesome! Remember you can wear them on the days you have an after school meeting and earn a point!
CLASS COMMUNICATORS
Each Month we will have one leader from each class serve at the "Class Communicator". It is the Class Communicator's responsibility to check the Red Student Council Container that will be in each teacher's class and hand out any paperwork in it each day to the leaders in your class for them to take home. You will need to ask your teacher when is the best time for you to hand out papers each day if there are some in the container. This is very important so know we will be choosing leaders who are demonstrating the ability to be extremely responsible for this job each month. You earn 2 points for this duty for the month you serve.
Class Communicators for Oct. are:
Burton: Anna Lytle Buckles: Madelyn Queen
Harbuck: Madisyn Rockey Dorrell: Elizabeth Griffin
Lucas: Reese Hetherington Ferreira: Laedin Utley
Sanders: Olivia Brown Loftin: Brooke Rhoades
Shrek: Micah Breisch Rester: Price Carter
Russell: Kathryn Rester
Yearly Leadership Responsibilities
We have many responsibilities here at McCall that we take care of all year. Those include:
Morning Safety Patrol, Snack Sack Deputies, Bradley's B4 School Buddies (help log on computers, etc), and Afternoon Office Aides.
You will get monthly calendars with details for each duty when it is your turn. You will get the opprotunity to help with several of these throughout the year.
MAKE SURE YOU ARE REPORTING FOR DUTY WHEN YOU ARE SCHEDULED
Point Sheets
These are already outside the Counseling office. Pick one up and start tracking your points. This is YOUR responsibility to keep track of. Always due last Friday of the six weeks.
