Important Information

STAAR Testing

Tuesday and Wednesday are STAAR Testing Days. These are important days for our school and students. Please help us by helping your child get a good night's rest before the exams and to arrive at school on time.

We will have a small snack for each student during the test. You can send your child with a snack, but please make sure the snack is not messy. Such snacks will not be allowed during the exam. For instance, Cheetos will not be allowed. You can also send your child with bottled water. Other flavored drinks (Gatorade, etc.) that if spilled, can stain will not be allowed during the test.

Lastly, we will be on an alternate bell schedule on Tuesday and Wednesday. Please note the change in lunch times. Click HERE to view the schedule.

Anonymous Alerts

Anonymous Alert System: Magnolia ISD utilizes the Anonymous Alerts® program at our junior high and high school campuses in an effort to empower students to report bullying, drug use or other personal safety concerns. All reports are completely anonymous and will be sent directly to school administrators, although students have the option to reveal their identity if they prefer to have a person-to-person discussion.

Please click HERE for more information regarding Anonymous Alerts.

Magnolia ISD and Bear Branch JH are dedicated to being the best. We are always exploring new technology and positive, proactive programs that reinforce an environment that is respectful and safe.
