Define and explain of an Intro

What is the intro?
The introduction is the beginning of the essay or article that first tells the reader what the story is going to be about. It also gives the reader the main topics being discussed in the thesis which is located at the end of the introduction.
When do you use it?
You write the introduction and the thesis at the beginning of an article or at the beginning of an essay.
How do you use it?
Well it's simply just the introduction so you would use it at the beginning of a story or essay and explain what what the story or article is going to be about. Just give the reader a brief description of what's going to happen and then the thesis which gives them the topics.
Why do you use it?
You use the introduction because it gives an introduction to the story or topic being told so the reader as a brief idea of what he or she is about to read. This helps the reader know what to look for and determines if they want to keep on reading or not.
