Counselor's Corner
January 23rd - January 27th
Character Trait: Perseverance
January's character trait is PERSEVERANCE. We will be looking for students who demonstrate perseverance by showing patience, flexibility, determination, and courage. During our morning assembly on Friday, January 27th, one student from each class will be recognized for showing perseverance throughout the month of January!
You are always welcome to reach out to me by phone at 366-5884, by email at jschulze@normanps.org, or via Seesaw if I can ever help in any way.
As always, thank you for sharing your children with us!
Jamie Schulze
Classroom Counseling Lessons
Our classroom counseling lessons for the month of January will focus on Coping Skills and how using these skills can help us persevere.
Last week I saw PreK, 5th grade, 3rd grade, and some 2nd & 4th grade classes! We learned some new coping skills and talked about what coping skills we already use.
The remaining classes will receive their classroom counseling lesson this coming week!
