St. Mark's Parent Guild Bulletin
April 4, 2013
Thank You to our Grandparents & Friends Day Committee!
A huge thank you to Gisette Leathers and her committee for organizing such a special day for our students' Grandparents & Friends! We captured beautiful smiles from all generations on campus, please click here to see some pictures. Don't worry, there are more to come! The Parent Guild is proud to use funds raised throughout the year to help provide this special day on campus.
The Parent Guild's largest fundraiser is Scarborough Fair, which will be held on Saturday, October 26th. Because we rely on funding from Scarborough Fair to support our yearly activities, it is never too early to suggest a potential underwriter or help in expanding our list of community partners. We do no solicit parents directly to underwrite the cost of Scarborough Fair so our committee works through the summer to secure funding from our neighboring businesses and friends. If you have suggestions for underwriters or would like to approach a corporate sponsor on our behalf, please contact me at carrie.gillette@yahoo.com. Click here to see our list of previous underwriters.
Don't forget tomorrow is Dads & Donuts, please RSVP to breid@stmes.org.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Carrie Gillette
Parent Guild Vice President
