Her classes range from beginner to accomplished and students have the opportunity to try out for RUSH, our own Combs High School dance team. If you think that you'd enjoy some time on the dance floor make sure you sign up for the class during registration. Questions? Talk to Mrs. Downing or your counselor.

ARIZONA YOUTH SURVEY
Combs High School Sophomores and Seniors will be participating in the Arizona Youth Survey on Tuesday, February 18th. The participation is important to our campus and district because it will capture student feedback on the frequency of problematic behaviors in youth (i.e. substance use, bullying, risk taking behaviors), and the factors that may influence the prevalence of these behaviors. The collective results will then help us to offer social-emotional programming and better support our CHS students. The survey will take about 45 minutes and will be completed during the class period on the 18th. Survey responses are anonymous and confidential. If you choose to not have your student participate in the survey, please return the opt-out form attached in this newsletter to the CHS front office. The opt-out forms will also be available in hard copy in the front office at CHS. We thank you in advance for your support of this survey.

Sweetheart Cinderella Pageant.-Scholarship opportunities!
Arizona Cinderella is one of the longest and largest youth development pageants in the country. We are proud to award over $7,000 in college scholarships each year, and we enjoy helping young women learn skills that empower them to achieve their dreams. Cinderella is all about inner beauty, that is expressed by each participant as she steps across the stage. Our goal is to foster self-confidence and public speaking skills in young women and encourage our judges to look for girls who are equally poised, personable, and talented. All local participants qualify to attend the Arizona state finals in April, and all who participate in the state finals qualify to attend the International Finals in July. Registration for the February 15, pageant is open until February 10. Email SweetheartCindygirls@gmail.com for registration information.
