Watch out for the Bird Flu!
By: Reid Lammers
Bird Flu (Avian Influenza) is a virus that attacks birds. Most people get this virus by touching dead infected birds, or contact with infected fluids. Humans can only spread the virus if they are in close contact with each other. The virus will make a person feel sick and can kill them if they don't get help. There is no medication that will instantly get rid of it, but you can take some different kinds to help subdue its effects. More recent strains of the virus have been able to affect the lungs of seals, and can kill cats.
