    Susan Brownell Anthony was an American social reformer and feminist who played a pivotal role in the women's suffrage movement. She also persuade the committee on the femal labor to call for votes for women for equal pay and same work the men at the conference deleted the reference to the vote. She was a big role for women back then. Famous quotes:Men, their rights, and nothing more; women, their rights, and nothing less.

How my crazy self was brought up!!!!!

Susan B. Anthony was brought up a Quaker. Her family believed drinking liquor was sinful. While Anthony was working as head of the girls' department of Canajoharie Academy she joined the Daughters of Temperance, a group of women who drew attention to the effects of drunkenness on families and campaigned for stronger liquor laws. She made her first public speech in 1848 at a Daughters of Temperance supper.
