Classroom Notes
In Social Studies, we have been talking about the three Branches of Government. The test for this unit will be Tuesday, October 23. The study guide has been sent home. Please make sure your child is studying each night. This is a very difficult test!
On Election night, the students will have a U.S. map to use while they watch the election returns. As each state’s results are announced, the students should color that state either blue or red depending on which candidate wins each state. They also need to keep a running total of the Electoral College points for each candidate and record this on the back of the map. Students should record what time they stopped watching the returns/went to bed. You are welcome to help your child with this assignment. If possible, it would be great if you could let them stay up a little later than usual!
