It's all in the details...
Let me explain.
You know those irritating people who are always correcting you mid-sentence if you misspeak?
Those persnickety individuals who have to explain the difference (in detail) between "their", "there", and "they're" while conveying how angry it makes them to see incorrect usage?
Or those tiresome people who find it necessary to correct your text messages and emails as if they were being graded or sent to a foreign dignitary instead of your friend?
I confess: I am one of these people. And good thing for you that I am.
Real examples of poor grammar or spelling in the workplace (names withheld to protect the innocent):
"Make sure that the shared refridgator upstairs is kept clean." (Interoffice Memo via Email)
"It is sometimes necessary to remind her more then once to complete there reports for the weekly." (Quarterly Employee Review- Unfortunately Forwarded to Superiors)
"Mr. _____ attended Farleigh Dickenson University and graduated in 1986 with a degree in Finance." (Political Candidate's Website Bio)
"Our prices always beat the competishon!" (Landscaping Business Billboard Advertisement)

So...what do I DO??
I write. Or I edit. Or both!
I don't keep up with the Kardashians. I don't mess with apps all day. I don't even schedule mani-pedis (not often, anyway). I edit.
More precisely, I edit for YOU.
Reports, newsletters, grant proposals, legal drafts, manuscripts, business letters, advertisements, webpages, articles, manuals, press releases, and so much more: these are the materials I can edit for you for a very reasonable rate. I am always willing to work with those of you who may have a limited budget. Proofreading and editing services should be available to everyone- not just those who can afford it!

Fortune 500 companies hire editors and proofreaders to ensure the image they present to the public is one that displays competency and a polished image.
I can provide the same services without the Fortune 500 price.
So what are you waiting for?
Contact me with the type of document(s) you need edited, the turnaround time you expect, and other pertinent details, and I will respond with a quote in 24 hours.
Put me to work- I promise I'll stop interrupting people to tell them the difference between "accept" and "except", or "further" and "farther", or "your" and "you're", or. . .you get the idea.
Email or call me today!
I can't wait to hear from you!

Who are you, anyway?
I graduated from Centenary College in 2007 summa cum laude with a 3.9 GPA and a B.A. in English Literature. I have been freelance editing and writing for almost a decade for various small businesses throughout Northern New Jersey, non profit organizations, and clients ranging from businessmen to learning disabled students.
I have won numerous awards for my writing including the United States Achievement Academy's Communication Arts Award. I have been a member of the International English Honor Society, Sigma Tau Delta, since 2006, and a member of the Editorial Freelancer's Association (EFA) since 2009.
Perhaps one of my greatest accomplishments was the publication, in 2009, of the first book I had the privilege to edit called A Better Life with Your Dog: Understanding and Improving the Way You and Your Dog Live Together, by Fernando Camacho, which can be found on Amazon.com (and which I highly recommend if you are a pet owner).
In my spare time, I am an avid reader, and find time to volunteer or donate whenever I can. I enjoy quality time with my husband and young son, when I'm not chasing him around the house, playing with Matchbox cars, or reading The Little Blue Truck for approximately the 1,246th time.
