Attendance Update
These past few weeks, however, we have seen a steady decline in our student attendance. With winter weather can come a greater spread of germs and seasonal illnesses. Please help us circumvent the spread of germs by reinforcing our healthy habits at home - wearing appropriate clothing for the weather and temperatures, covering coughs and sneezes, and not sharing food. We thank you for your support - we would love to see our students staying healthy and our attendance improve!
Noble School Spotlight
~ Submitted by Noble Second Grade ~
This year the second graders at Noble Elementary partnered up as book buddies with a class at CWRU taught by one of our Noble parents. This partnership aligns with our school’s AVID mission to close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college and career readiness and success in a global society. We also focus on the idea that a growth mindset can be taught to students, and it is through the growth mindset students will succeed in following their dreams and fulfilling their aspirations.
8th Graders Give Back to Elementary Students
~ Submitted by Noble First Grade ~
First grade scholars have enjoyed collaborating with the eighth graders from Monticello this year. The eighth grade IB Service Learning Program involves advisory classes adopting elementary classrooms at Noble and Oxford. The Monticello students visit each month and collaborate with the first graders on different activities around reading, writing, math, social studies, and science. First graders have loved partnering with the older students and look forward to continuing this throughout the school year!
