Smart Loan Borrowing Workshop: March 12 @ 6PM
Do you have questions about financial aid and the student loan process? What is the difference between subsidized and unsubsidized student loans? What about Parent PLUS Loans or private/alternative loans?
If so, you and your parents are encouraged to attend our Smart Loan Borrowing Workshop presented by CFNC on March 12 at 6PM.

The Winston Salem Foundation -- James L. Einstein College Scholarship
The Winston Salem Foundation is offering The James L. Einstein College Scholarship, which provides one $3,000 renewable scholarship to a graduating Crosby Scholar senior who will attend a two- or four-year college or university with a cumulative unweighted GPA of 2.5 or higher; who demonstrates participation in community service; and who demonstrates financial need.
Preference may be given to Crosby Scholars seniors whose parents are employees of WestRock Company and work in Forsyth County.
Interested applicants may apply online at www.wsfoundation.org/students The deadline to submit an application is April 1, 2019.

Students must apply by submitting an online application through the 'Scholarships Application' page of the Crosby Scholars Student Portal.

**A drawing will be held for two $250.00 scholarships awarded to a junior or senior Crosby Scholars student who attends the performance.
This scholarship must be applied toward the winner’s college education, and the recipient must graduate from the Crosby Scholars Program.
Les & Evelyn Riley Memorial Scholarship Opens March 4
The Program will award a non-renewable $1,200 need-based scholarship to one graduating Crosby Scholar senior who enrolls in a two- or four-year college or university, who demonstrates academic achievement by holding a cumulative weighted GPA of 3.5, and who clearly expresses in an essay how a significant life experience has influenced him or her.
The application is available in the Crosby Scholars Student Portal. The deadline is March 31, 2019.
Bigs for Success Scholarship Opens March 4
The Program will award up to three non-renewable $1,000 scholarships to graduating Crosby Scholar seniors who will enroll in a two- or four-year college or university, have a cumulative weighted GPA of 2.5 or higher, who successfully completed their match for the year, and who joined the Bigs for Success Program during their junior year. The student will clearly demonstrate in an essay how mentorship has made an impact on their lives.
The application is available in the Crosby Scholars Student Portal. The deadline is March 31, 2019.
Right Decisions / Right Now Scholarship Opens March 11
The Program will award up to three non-renewable $1,000 scholarships to graduating Crosby Scholar seniors who attended a complete week of the Right Decisions/Right Now camp, who demonstrate academic achievement by holding a cumulative weighted GPA of 2.5 or higher, and clearly express in a personal statement why he or she has chosen to remain tobacco free.
The application is available in the Crosby Scholars Student Portal. The deadline is April 7, 2019.
Jessica Hill Davis Memorial Scholarship Opens March 11
The Program will award a non-renewable $1,200 scholarship to one graduating Crosby Scholar senior who demonstrates academic achievement by holding a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher; enrolls in a two- or four-year college in North Carolina; and clearly expresses in an essay how he or she has always felt different.
The application is available in the Crosby Scholars Student Portal. The deadline is April 7, 2019.
