Warrior Beat
Student Focused-World Class
Word for the Warrior...
There are times in life when there really are no words adequate to express the meaning that lies within a heart.
For Teacher Appreciation Week, I think that is especially true.
There is just no possible way to show enough gratitude to you..
...for selflessly loving our kids day after day after day
...for never giving up hope
...for going home after a tiresome day at school and continuing to think about that most difficult child and reflect on how to better reach them tomorrow
...for staying after school and for coming early before school to tutor children who need it- even when the extended contract money ended a long time ago or never even started
...for searching for clothes, school supplies and food to meet the needs of a child
...for having mercy time and time again and not taking a child's actions personally-- because you see the big picture
...for continuing to grow and learn because you know that you are the lead learner in your classroom
...for coming back each day and treating EACH day with utmost importance because you know that your kids need you EVERY day and because you understand that EVERY moment matters!
AND...
...for being a World-Changer...right here at 1200 Wateree St in Kingsport, Tennessee.
#worldchangingwarriors
Sincerely,
Holly

*The following message is from last week’s WONDERFUL W.O.W Recipient, Angela McCoy:
I would like to thank Debbie Hash for my nomination of the WOW award. I am honored to have received it! My nomination for the WOW award this week is in my opinion a wonderful lady that gives so much time and energy to the students here at Sevier. Not only does she teach, but she coaches track, cross country and basketball. I never hear anything but kind words about her from not only the students, but parents also. It is my honor to nominate Julie Potts for the WOW award!
