TWO SCOOPS!
SCOOP ONE
Thursday is the LAST DAY of 3rd quarter! Can you believe we only have 10 weeks left in the school year?!? We will send a message next week when reports cards are posted to Skyward. Spring Break starts Friday. Students return to school Monday , April 4. Enjoy the downtime with your family!
The next newsletter will be published Apr 4.
SCOOP TWO
We are hosting the last in the trilogy from IndieFlix in April. See details below.
IndieFlix Trilogy Part 3
We would like to invite you to join us for our virtual screening of the film, The Upstanders, April 7th at 7pm. We have enjoyed seeing many of you at our first two screenings, Angst and Like and look forward to learning with you again in April.
The Upstanders: Building Resilience and Empathy to stand against Cyber-bullying
Thurs, Apr 7
7:00 PM
https://meet.google.com/wvi-qibk-ots
The Upstanders examines cyber-bullying from the perspectives of the bully, the victim and the onlooker, providing practical tips and resources to change the narrative – to stand up, speak out and support – and become an Upstander, not a Bystander
We will host a discussion following the film.
More Shining Comets!
This talented group of athletes won 3 out of their last 4 tournaments including our home RCYBA tournament and finished 5th place in state which is the HIGHEST any Rochester youth basketball team has placed in a long time!
Pictured here are Kellogg Comets Rihanna, Madison, Avery, and Isabella along with the rest of the team. Shout out to their coaches for leading this awesome group of ladies to such a great season!
Mrs. Fox's class hosted Limb Lab last week and had an outstanding experience! You can see a few pics above but can access more pics and videos using this link.
