VanCon is Coming

On May 31, 2016, Vanguard will host our second annual VanCon. We've had some other Vanguard PD events, but VanCon itself was born last summer. And, in true Vanguard fashion, it's not completely traditional.

Here are your basic details:

  • May 31, 2016 from 8:00-4:00 at Georgia Tech Hotel & Conference Center
  • If you are on a 190-day contract, you will be paid $20 an hour.
  • There will be hour-long concurrent sessions throughout the day.
  • The sessions will be divided into two segments: 30 minutes presentation-style and 30 minutes discussion/collaboration/targeted work.
  • With the exception of our national speakers, sessions will be lead by our Fulton teachers - primarily Vanguard.

The Vanguard team has been WELL represented today with 43 members presenting, many for the first time! Congrats to all of our members who presented, but especially to the Bear Creek Vanguard team and Kali Alford, KSU iTeach coach extraordinaire.
